Try bearded insectivores, spiders, medium- to large-size frogs, and tortoises. Insectivores, such as bearded dragons, lizards, and iguanas, love crickets the most. To maximize your crickets' nutrient value, choose “gut-loaded” crickets, fed on high-quality food. Pet spiders, including tarantulas and wolf spiders, also enjoy crickets. Their feeding time is about once or twice a week, so, you don’t need a lot of crickets at hand. As for pet tortoises, however, commercial pet food is recommended, along with protein sources such as crickets, which can account for 5% of their total food intake.
